Under the terms of the agreement, Imai will receive a $2 million signing bonus with annual salaries of $16 million in 2026 and $18 million in 2027 and 2028. The contract also includes performance bonuses that could add up to an additional $3 million, with incentives for reaching 80, 90, and 100 innings pitched.
